Events Kofukan England is a founder member of the English Karate Governing Body and endeavours to support and participate in its various initiatives. These include the NVQ Coaching programme, for which we have our own assessor. We also have a thriving competition squad for seniors entering several competitions a year in Britain, with a selected squad going to Kofukan International's Euro Cup or International Cup. A Cadet & Junior squad has also been formed, some members having already competed at our Junior International Championships in Portugal in August 1998, England in March 1999, Scotland in April 2000, Faro in 2001 and France in 2002. A National Championship and a Club Championship are held each year with categories for adults and cadets. Look at the 'Competitions' pages for reports and results
